Hargreaves Lansdown have benefited from Maughan Mitchell’s expertise in their move to new 100,000 sq ft HQ offices in Bristol Harbourside, realising substantial cost savings on the business rates side.

By looking at the overall picture and working closely with Hargreaves Lansdown, Maughan Mitchell have agreed a phasing in of the new Rating Assessments, a discount to reflect surrounding ongoing building works and a longer term lower level of the assessment, while also mitigating rates on the existing locations in Clifton.

The exercise undertaken reduced Hargreaves Lansdown’s costs of the move by in excess of £2,000,000.
